Description
English: View of the NASA Crawlerway during construction on April 7, 1964. After excavation, more than 3,000,000 cubic yards of hydraulic sand fill was placed along the route from the Vehicle Assembly Building to the launch compound. Alabama River rock was placed to a depth of eight inches on curves and four inches on straightway sections as the top surface.
