Description
English: A complete copper alloy Nail Cleaner of Roman date (AD 250-410). The nail cleaner is composed of a rectangular neck with an upper circular perforation. The neck widens to form a triangular shape which narrows towards the bifurcated prongs which form the end of the nail cleaner. The object appears undecorated.


The metal is a dark green in colour with a slightly pitted patina.


Length: 37.36mm. Width: 8.82mm, Thickness: 1.02mm, Weight: 1.4g.
