English: After several fire missions; PFC Henry L. Jones (Memphis, TN) and PFC Mark F. Hughs (Scotch Plains, NJ) clean and clear the barrel of their 105mm howitzer. Battery B, 2nd Battalion, 320th Artillery, 101st Airborne Brigade, operating from a mountain top, provided heavy fire support for units of the 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry, 1st Brigade, 101st Airborne Division. The 101st Airborne units were participating in Operation “Wheeler” in the mountainous terrain of the Tam Ky area, Republic of Vietnam. |
