Description
English: NAMAKKAL IS FAMOUS FOR ANJANAYA TEMPLE TOO.IT WAS BUILT IN THE PERIOD OF PALLAVARAYA. THE IDOL IS 18 FEET TALL WITH A JAPAMALA IN HAND. THIS TEMPLE IS LOCATED IN CENTRE OF THE NAMAKKAL TOWN,WHICH IS EXTENSIVELY COVERED WITH HILLY RANGES AND ROCKS OF KOLLIHILLS,WHICH RUNS ALONG THE EAST OF NAMAKKAL.IT WAS BUILT IN SEVEENTH (7) CENTURY.WHICH IS DIRECT OPPOSITE OF THE LORD NARASHIMA CAVE TEMPLE.THIS PLACE IS ALSO KNOWN AS TRIMURTHI STHALA.THIS IMAGE IS TAKEN DURING THE PERIOD OF 1925. JAI ANJANAYA ....
