Description
English: Nakhoda Masjid is acknowledged as the largest Masjid in the city of Kolkata. It was built under the benefaction of a dweller of Kutch, Abdar Rahim Osman in the year 1926. The Masjid has become one of the prime tourist attractions of Kolkata, owing to its sheer size and magnificence. Around 10,000 devotees can perform their prayer, or 'Namaaz' in this splendid Masjid together. The gateway to the Masjid resembles the Buland Darwaza at Fatehpur Sikri. For its construction, granite stones were brought from Tolepur. Inside the Nakhoda Masjid, there is a fabulous exhibition of ornaments and art.
বাংলা: নাখোদা মসজিদ কলকাতা শহরের সবচেয়ে বড় মসজিদ হিসেবে স্বীকৃত। এটি ১৯২৬ সালে কচ্ছের বাসিন্দা আবদার রহিম ওসমানের উপকারে নির্মিত হয়েছিল। মসজিদটি কলকাতার অন্যতম প্রধান পর্যটন কেন্দ্র হয়ে উঠেছে, কারণ এর আকৃতি এবং বিশালতা। প্রায় ১০,০০০ ভক্ত একসাথে এই জাঁকজমকপূর্ণ মসজিদে তাদের নামাজ বা 'নামাজ' আদায় করতে পারেন। মসজিদের প্রবেশদ্বার ফতেহপুর সিক্রির বুলন্দ দরওয়াজার অনুরূপ। এর নির্মাণের জন্য, টোলেপুর থেকে গ্রানাইট পাথর আনা হয়েছিল। নাখোদা মসজিদের ভেতরে রয়েছে অলঙ্কার ও শিল্পকলার অসাধারণ প্রদর্শনী।
हिन्दी: नखोदा मस्जिद को कोलकाता शहर की सबसे बड़ी मस्जिद के रूप में स्वीकार किया जाता है। यह 1926 में कच्छ के निवासी अब्दार रहीम उस्मान के लाभ के तहत बनाया गया था। मस्जिद अपने विशाल आकार और भव्यता के कारण कोलकाता के प्रमुख पर्यटक आकर्षणों में से एक बन गई है। इस शानदार मस्जिद में लगभग 10,000 भक्त एक साथ अपनी नमाज़ या 'नमाज़' कर सकते हैं। मस्जिद का प्रवेश द्वार फतेहपुर सीकरी में बुलंद दरवाजे जैसा दिखता है। इसके निर्माण के लिए तोलेपुर से ग्रेनाइट के पत्थर लाए गए थे। नखोदा मस्जिद के अंदर गहनों और कला की शानदार प्रदर्शनी है।
