English:

A bent copper alloy Roman nail cleaner with moulded neck of Eckardt and Crummy 1998, dating from the 1st to 2nd century AD. The cleaner is leaf shaped and gently tapers from shoulders to the tip, which end in a pair of prongs. one of which has broken away. The suspension loop is oval with a circular aperture and a moulded collar beneath. The neck has two mouldings. The front of the object is decorated with three dot-in-annulet motifs
