Description
Deutsch: Weichenstraße zur Freiabstellgruppe. Derartig enge Bögen gibt es auf der Strecke nicht. Die Triebwagen der Reihe Bem 558 sind wegen der nicht elektrifizierten Bw-Gleise mit einem Hilfsdieselmotor ausgerüstet. Nur die Abstellplätze sind zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt für die Energieversorgung im Stand mit kurzen Deckenstromschienen ausgerüstet. Die Ähnlichkeit mit den Bem 550 der SBB für die Strecke Genf–La Plaine–Bellegarde ist kein Zufall, beide mechanisch sehr ähnliche Bauarten sind von den Stadtbahnwagen Typ B abgeleitet, viele Teile sind identisch und tauschbar.
