Description
Русский: Фото 52. Церковь св. Ирины при главном архиве (на месте нынешней Библиотеки Ленина). Выстроена в 1875-1876 по образцу церкви, заложенной на том же месте в 1620-е годы В. И. Стрешневым. Первая церковь Св. Ирины приняла окончательный облик к 1675 году. После 1812 года ту церковь упразднили, а в 1842 году разобрали.
English: Plate 52: Church of St. Irina at the Foreign Ministry Archives, Moscow (site of present-day Lenin Library). It was built in 1875-1876 as a replica of Streshhev family church which was built in 1620s, closed after the fire of 1812 and demolished in 1842.
