Description
Deutsch: Nürtingen, Neckarstraße 13, Detail, Relief an Villa im Melchior-Areal. Das gesamte Gebäudeensemble steht seit 1987 unter Denkmalschutz. 1816 von Immanuel Friedrich Otto als Baumwollspinnerei und -färberei gegründet. Später Expandierung unter Heinrich Otto & Söhne (HOS) nach Unterboihingen, der Familienzweig Melchior unter anderem Albert Melchior erweiterte am Standort Nürtingen. Betriebsschließung 1976, Teilabriss 1981. Konversion durch K. H. Türk für die Freie Kunstschule Nürtingen (FKN). Quelle: Melchior-Areal bei der FKN-Kunstakademie
