| Description |
English: Mythe Waterworks The Mythe Waterworks viewed across the River Avon and Breaking Stone Meadow. Mythe water treatment works treats water extracted from the River Severn which is then pumped to households in much of Gloucestershire. It was this water works which made the national news in July 2007 when high floodwaters caused the plant to close thus cutting off water supplies to much of Gloucestershire for several days. |
