English: My bank is now a block of flats At far western end of Tangier Road. When I worked here 20 years ago I use to sprint down here at lunchtime to the TSB, only to find one person on dealing with a long and tedious query. These days I'd be on to my Phonebank - and not getting through. That's progress. |
