Description
English: Khand Devi Mata and Saraswoti Mata is worshiped in this Khand Devi temple located in Chaurase village, Ward No. 9, Lekabeshi Municipality of Surkhet District. This temple was built in about 1883 AD but fews years ago it has rebuilt again. This temple is worshiped by Hindus especially on Chaitra Ashtami and Maha Ashtami. It is a major religious pilgrimage site in Lekbeshi Municipality.
नेपाली: सुर्खेत जिल्लाको लेकाबेशी नगरपालिका, वडा नं ९, चौरासे गाउँमा अवस्थित यस खाँड देवी मन्दिरमा खाँड देवी माता र सरस्वती माताको पूजा गरिन्छ। यो मन्दिर वि.शं. १९४० मा स्थापना गरिएको थियो भने अहिले यसलाई पुनःनिर्माण गरेर नयाँ बनाइएको हो। यस मन्दिरमा विशेष गरेर चैत्र अष्ठमीमा र महा अष्टमीमा हिन्दूहरूले पूजा गर्ने गर्छन्। यो मन्दिर लेकबेशी नगरपालिकाको प्रमुख धार्मिक तिर्थस्थल हो।
