Summary

[edit]
Description

Pored predmeta svakodnevne upotrebe poput razvnovrsnog alata i keramike, zbirku čine i bogate kolekcije hladnog naoružanja i ranog vatrenog oružja. Sa istraživanja srednjovjekovnih nekropola potiču nalazi nakita, dok je ista zbirka obogaćena poklonima i otkupom.
English: The stećak is in the shape of a dome, 0.58 meters in diameter. Only the end of the engraved Cyrillic inscription is preserved on the monument: "the student of Prince Hrvatin was written", while the beginning was destroyed. The inscription is supposed to date from the end of the 13th or the beginning of the 14th century.

Location of the finding: The Stećak was found in 1962 on a site called the Greek Cemetery in the village of Osredak, Stanari municipality (formerly part of Doboj municipality). The Greek cemetery is located in the current Orthodox cemetery on the Grdelj hill, which is on the border with the village of Kulasi, Prnjavor municipality. The "Archaeological Lexicon" states the existence of this necropolis, called "Greek Rowing, Osredak".

This monument belongs to the category of stećak tombstones. The stećak tombstones are medieval tombstones, mostly on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also in the surrounding countries. The stećak tombstones were built from the 12th to the 16th century.

Collection This finding is part of the Medieval collection of the Archeological Department in the Museum in Doboj.

Medieval collection - mostly contained items found during archaeological excavations of fortresses in the lower reaches of Bosnia, precisely locations: Dobor, Doboj and Maglaj. In addition to everyday objects such as various tools and ceramics, the collection also includes rich collections of cold steel and early firearms. Jewelry finds originate from the research of medieval necropolises, while the same collection is enriched with gifts and redemptions.
