Description

The 30 m high Mutterturm [Mother's Tower] was built by Hubert von Herkomer in 1884-1888, to honour his mother.

To which extent Henry Hobson Richardson, the architect of en:Lululaund, was involved, is uncertain.

The tower's sidehouse, formerly a residential building, houses the Landsberg Herkomer Museum since 1990.
