"Musum” is the Chinuk Wawa word for “to sleep.” It is pronounced “MOOS-um.” Use this word in a sentence by saying “nayka musum” (I am sleeping), or “mayka musum” (you are sleeping). To tell someone to “sleep well,” say “musum ɬush.”
