Leise weht es durch die Halle;
König Wilhelm hebt die Hand.
All die gold'nen Sprüche funkeln Siegverheißend von der Wand.
Zu Charlottenburg im Garten Aus dem düstertt Fichtenhain Tritt der König, hoch und mächtig,
Um sein Antlitz Sonnenschein.
Nach dem vorstehenden schönen Gedicht soll eine Darstellung in Prosa gefertigt werden, unter Zugrundelegung nachstehender Disposition:
lol. Ein denkwürdiger Tag.
Einleitung.
I. Der tiefgebeugte und kummervolle König.
II. Der wehmütig gestimmte und betende König.
III. Der gelobende und bittende König.
IV. Der gestärkte und stolze König.

I. 1. Mit dem alten Förster heut' bin ich durch den Wald gegangen, während hell im Festgeläut'
aus dem Dorf die Glocken klangen.
2. Golden floß inH Oaub der Tag,
Vöglein sangen Gottes Ehre, fast als ob's der ganze Hag wüßte, daß es Sonntag wäre.
II. 3. Und wir kamen ins Revier, wo, umrauscht von alten Bäumen, junge Stämmlein sonder Zier sproßten aus besamten Räumen.
4. Feierlich der Alte sprach:
„Siehst du über unsern Wegen hochgewölbt das grüne Dach?
Das ist unsrer Ahnen Segen.
