Sprechen nicht mehr machen, der Kopf kann nicht mehr aufrecht gehalten weroen, der Körper ermüdet, und der Schlaf nimmt ihn in seine Arme. In der Nacht sammelt der Mensch neue Kräfte. Am Morgen ist der Antrieb wieder vorhanden, das Werk kann weitergehen!
42. Vergleich des menschlichen Lebens mit einem Flusse.
Einleitung: Bei aufmerksamer und sinniger Betrachtung der Natur finden wir Ms oft selbst in ihr ab gespiegelt. Der Dichter Ludwig Tieck sagt: Es sei uns, als ob im Wasser ein uns befreundetes Wesen wohne. Wir wollen sehen, ob nicht der an uns vorüberrauschende Fluß auch eine Sprache für uns hat.
Übergang: Wenn wir ihn recht verstehen, so sagt er: Sieh in mir das Bild deines eigenen Lebens, wie es ist, sein soll und nicht sein soll.
Ausführung des Themas:
I. Der Fluß ist ein Bild des menschlichen Lebens, wie es ist.
II. Sein Anfang ist schwach und unbedeutend. Ein hin- eingeworfener Stein, mein eigener Fuß könnten ihn im Laufe hemmen und stören. So ist auch das Leben des Menschen in seinem Anfänge klein, schwach und hilflos. Unbedeutende Zufälle können das Leben des Kindes stören und zerstören.
III. Der Fluß nimmt, je weiter er fließt, mehr und mehr zu. Bäche, Nebenflüsse, Regen usw. So auch das Leben; es erstarkt allmählich durch Nahrungsstoffe für Körper und Seeles Unterricht!
IV. Ein Fluß wird in seinem Laufe oft durch Klippen, Wasserfälle, enge Täler usw. gehindert. So wird das ruhige Gleichmaß unseres Lebenslaufes durch mancherlei Unfälle, Krankheiten, durch widrige Verhältnisse gehindert. Der Fluß überwindet die sich ihm entgegenstellenden Hindernisse, der Mensch soll dies auch tun.
V. Der Fluß fließt schnell dahin; unser Leben geht gar bald vorüber.
6. Der Fluß endet im Weltmeer; sein Name verschwindet. Uns trifft der Tod, wir vergehen im All; unser Name verschwindet. Nur wenige große Namen bestehen, wie frühere Flußläufe ihre Täler hinterlassen haben.
6. Wie aber der Fluß nur scheinbar endet, da seine Wasser- masse im Weltmeer weiter besteht, so endet auch unser Leben
