Für Blockmuffe in Naturell und Sealfarbe ist im Allgemeinen einfaches Einlassen, wenn nöthig am Pumpf doppelt, wie in Fig. 38, genügend, da man für diese Facon (siehe das Anfertigen der Muffe) die dünnen Theile oben und unten rund herausfallen lassen kann. Aber auch für viereckige, naturelle Muffblätter kann man sich mit dem Einlassen allein behelfen, wenn man vor dem Zusammensetzen der Felle gehörig Kopf und Pumpf in die Breite streckt. Dann kann man das Helle des Pumpfes und des Kopfes beim Aufspannen fast ganz abfallen lassen.
