In both special camps, Muslim prisoners of war were held, who had fought on the side of the German opponent countries England, France and Russia. Among them were numerous soldiers from the British and French colonies. Kriegsgefangene: Die beiden Lager in Zossen-Wünsdorf, Halbmond- und Weinberglager genannt, wurden 1914 eingerichtet. In beiden Sonderlagern wurden muslimische Kriegsgefangene festgehalten, die auf Seiten der deutschen Gegnerstaaten England, Frankreich und Russland gekämpft hatten. Darunter waren zahlreiche Soldaten aus den britischen und französischen Kolonien. |
