Description
English: A major feature of the church, built in the third quarter of the 5th century, a period when the nearby Saint Simeon complex was being developed as a centre of pilgrimiga) is that it has lots of windows, nine on the clerestory (a high section of wall that contains windows above eye level) on its 4,5 meter high columns and many on the west side (eight, plus formerly three in a disappeared triangular entablature).
