English: The Museumstor in Rastatt separates the palace garden from the town.
Deutsch: Das um 1705 gebaute Museumstor in Rastatt. Das Tor steht in der Rastatter Innenstadt, am Ende der heutigen Fußgängerzone, und trennt den Schlosspark von der Stadt. Den Namen trägt es, weil an diesem Ort ursprünglich ein Museum für die „Türkenbeute“ entstehen sollte. Im Tor sieht man die Auflösung des Rastatter Rätsels, eine von zwei Skulpturen von Jürgen Goertz. |
