Description

O governador Aécio Neves visitou, nesta terça-feira (25/08), as obras do Museu das Minas e do Metal, em implantação no prédio da antiga Secretaria de Estado de Educação. O museu faz parte do Circuito Cultural Praça da Liberdade, o maior complexo de cultura do país aberto ao público. O prédio está sendo restaurado e adaptado para abrigar importante acervo sobre mineração e metalurgia, documentando duas das principais atividades econômicas de Minas. As obras são supervisionadas pelo Instituto Estadual do Patrimônio Artístico e Cultural (Iepha-MG).


Na foto, Acompanharam o governador, o secretário de Cultura, Paulo Brant, e o empresário, Eike Batista, presidente do Grupo EBX, empresa patrocinadora do Museu das Minas e do Metal.
