Español: Museo De Barquisimeto.
Fue la sede el antiguo Hospital de La Caridad, el cual data de 1878. En 1911 se abrieron los primeros pabellones y en mayo de 1918 se inauguraron las nuevas instalaciones, gracias a los esfuerzos del Dr. Antonio María Pineda y la idea del arquitecto alemán Justo Rosemberg. En 1939, la ciudad en homenaje a su fundador le dio su nombre a dicho hospital, el cual funcionó hasta 1954 cuando fue trasladado definitivamente a su actual sede en el extremo norte de la Avenida Vargas, dentro del marco de la celebración de los 400 años de la ciudad. |
