English: Pam Bennett, a K-9 handler from Grafton, W.Va., with Ohio Task Force 1 Urban Search and Rescue team and her dog, Ayla, a Labrador retriever, await the training at Muscatatuck Urban Training Facility Aug. 15 during Vibrant Response 13-2. Vibrant Response is a major training exercise that trains approximately 5,700 military and civilian first responders. Vibrant Response is conducted by U.S. Northern Command and led by U.S. Army North (Fifth Army). One of the many training sites at MUTC is the flooded city, in which responders search and rescue mannequins. (Photo by Army Staff Sgt. Tomora E. Clark, 13th Public Affairs Detachment) |
