Summary
[edit]DescriptionMusée dOrsay, 4 November 2003.jpg |
A former train station turned into an art museum specializing in 19th Century art (where the Louvre leaves off), this is an amazing place, between the architecture and the Impressionist painting collections. On this trip, I have only one full day in France, and I am making sure to cram a great Parisian art museum into my itinerary. I made sure to choose one museum that I had not visited on a previous occasion - and Orsay was the glaring omission from my initial 1998 visit, so it became my choice for 2003. |
