Summary
[edit]DescriptionMunshi or Mahomedan Teacher.jpg |
English: A nicely coloured lithograph, with the green and red on the ground extending the teacher's garments. This is one of the few postcards from the series by an unknown Indian artist or artists with a European-style backdrop, in this case a column and balcony that would have been familiar from the many prints circulating in the city in the 19th century and were also used by artists like Ravi Varma in their works. Haji Yusuf. 13.60x8.60cm. |
