Summary
[edit]DescriptionMumetal box by Zureks.jpg |
English: A 5-layer box made out of mumetal. Each layer is around 5 mm thick. The overall shape is cylindrical with removable 5 lids. The red suction handles are used for removing the lids. The "shafts" are drilled through and allow inserting cables and wires to connect to the equipment placed in the box. Each layer is around 5 mm thick, and if the main component of Earth magnetic field (North-South) is positioned across the main axis of the box, then the reduction of the field inside is over 1500 times.
The box is manufactured by Magnetic Shields Ltd, Kent, England, http://www.magneticshields.co.uk. |
