Description
English: A soldier with mock injuries awaits treatment after being dropped off by a UH-60 Black Hawk from 4th Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division out of Hunter Army Airfield, Ga., during a mass-casualty exercise in Latvia, June 8. Black Hawk helicopters provided air medical evacuation capabilities to the medical personnel of the Combat Support Battalion, Latvian Land Forces Brigade during the exercise. The exercise provided a demonstration of the joint medical capabilities of forces from 13 different nations and included land and air medical assets. The exercise was held in conjunction with Operation Atlantic Resolve, an ongoing multinational partnership focused on joint training and security cooperation between the U.S. and other NATO allies.
