Description The lighthouse at the Mull of Galloway stands on the edge of a 260 ft. cliff at Scotland’s most Southerly Point. It took 2 years to build and was started in 1828 by Robert Stevenson. The light, which stands 99 m above sea level, was first lit on the 26th March 1830 and the light remains operational today.
