Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Mule Drink, or Informal Overflow, on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, on the Three Mile Level of Oak Springs, above Swain's lock. The towpath dips at this point (not really visible in the photo), allowing excess water to flow over the towpath and into the river. Of course, these spots are prone to erosion from the flowing water, hence the orange plastic fence on the left, where the side eroded and caved in.
