Summary
[edit]DescriptionMucklaghmore - geograph.org.uk - 1422987.jpg |
English: Mucklaghmore Mucklaghmore and Illaunnabarnagh are a pair of isolated islands in Tralee Bay, about 6 and 5 kilometres respectively west of Banna Strand, and about 6 and 7 kilometres respectively north east of the Magharees Peninsula. In this view from the top of the sand dunes on Banna Strand, Mucklaghmore is the much larger island further out to sea on the right, while Illaunnabarnagh in Q6922 is the low cluster of rocky islets on the left.
The low hills on the horizon beyond Mucklaghmore are the sand dunes of the Magharees Peninsula, while the edge of the Slieve Mish Mountains can be seen far left. |
