Summary
[edit]DescriptionMt Taranaki from Lake Rotokare - Flickr - Geoff J Mckay.jpg |
My brother took me and my niece to this viewpoint above Lake Rotokare this morning. A glorious view with low-level mist still hugging the ground. Lake Rotokare is a landslide dammed lake in the New Zealand region of Taranaki. It is located 12 km east of Eltham. The 230 ha Scenic Reserve, in the Tangahoe catchment, is the country's largest wetland and lake habitat inside a predator proof fence. Wikipedia |
