[edit]DescriptionMrs. Prentis Cobb Hale departs for Paris, 1921.jpg |
English: Delegated by ex-service men of San Francisco and California as their representative at the Memorial Pay exercises to be held in France, Mrs. Prentis Cobb Hale, noted war worker and "mother" to the boys, was given godspeed at the ferry building today on her departure for an extended European tour. It was an impressive moment when Mrs. Prentis Cobb Hale was bidden godspeed today on her departure for Paris to attend war memorial exercises, bearing tributes to fallen comrades from San Francisco veterans. Those photographed in the party were (left to right) James I. Herz, H. B. Monjar, D. E. Carter, Prentis Cobb Hale Jr., Mrs. Hale, Major E. J. Mitchell, J. W. Jackson and Major Jesse Colman |
