Description
English: Mrs. Mary E. Smith was a nurse at the U.S. General Hospital "Jarvis" at Baltimore, Maryland during the American Civil War, serving under the name of Mary E. Webber from fall 1862 to July 1865. Post-war, she resided in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1910, and was a member of the National Association of Civil War Army Nurses.
