فارسی: کوه ارنان یزد گنجینه ای ۱۲ هزار ساله از سنگ نگاره های تاریخی را در دل خود جای داده است.
در فاصله ۱۰۰ کیلومتری جنوب شرقی شهر یزد، در حوزه دشت گسترده بهادران، کوه ارنان یزد از جنس سنگ های رسوبی آهکی دوره نئوژن از دوران سوم زمین شناسی سربرافراشته است. در قسمت کوهپایه این کوه سنگ نگاره هایی وجود دارد که قدمت آن به هزاره چهارم پیش از میلاد باز می گردد. روی تعدادی از تخته سنگ ها نقوشی از حیوانات و انسان شامل بز کوهی شاخ بلند (کَل)، انسان سوار بر مرکب، انسان سوار بر حیوان و تیر و کمان به دست، مرد برهنه ی نیزه به دست در حال نبرد و شکار حیوان درنده، مرد برهنه گرز به دست، سگ شکاری، نقوش حیوانی نظیر آهو یا بز های کوچک و پرنده نمادین که از هر یک فقط یک یا دو مورد وجود دارد. برخی از این سنگ نگاره ها با گذشت زمان به علت فرسایش باد و تخریب حاصل از برف و باران یا تخریب هایی که از سوی بازدیدکنندگان صورت گرفته است اکنون به صورت کم رنگ و یک خراش سطحی مشاهده می شود. سازمان میراث فرهنگی طرحی را برای انتقال و حفاظت از این اثار ارائه داده است اما هنوز اجرایی نشده و زمان دقیقی برای اجرای این طرح اعلام نشده است.
