Description
English: A Motorola MEK6800D2 Microcomputer, in the collection of the Microcomputer Museum of America. To the left is the main Microcomputer Module containing the MC6800 Microprocessor, RAM and ROM memory (JBUG Monitor program), Clock Module, I/O chips, and assorted glue logic ICs. On the right is the Keyboard/Display Module containing a hexadecimal keypad, control keys, and 7-segment LEDs for display of 16-bit address and 8-bit data. A circuit and connectors for connection to an audio cassette tape player/recorder can also be seen on the Keyboard/Display Module, which is used to save/load data and programs to/from memory.
