| Description |
English: Description of a range of early Motorcycles. The Singer The motor and all its appurtenances, including fuel tank, are within the rear wheel, which, with the exception of the controlling rods and levers, is independent of the rest of the bicycle. The motor is hung on a fixed shaft with its crankshaft below the axial centre of the wheel, and with a pinion meshing in an internal gear on the wheel. Ignition is by a small magneto. |
