DescriptionMotion interpolation example.jpg |
Example of Motion interpolation for the Wikipedia article on it. The frames aren't really interpolated. Every other frame was removed from the top row of an animaged gif, and then replaced in the bottom row as if they had been interpolated. Similar to an example of Sony's MotionFlow found here Lately added an example of truly interpolated sequence made from the source by slowing it down 8 times. To obtain such a result the source sequence was interpolated 3 times by 3 different algorithms and the submited one was chosen by human supervision. IMHO it shows the best quality reachable by the software money can buy. |
