Description

Tipologia 

   Arquitectura religiosa, românica. Igreja românica da 2ª fase do românico português que adopta, entre outros elementos, a cabeceira quadrangular de tradição hispânica, aqui nitidamente aprofundada no séc. 18, e ao foco românico do Alto Minho. A decoração subsistente da cachorrada esculpida, cornija enxaquetada (a S.), friso de losangos, as folhas lanceoladas e as formas romboidais revelam-se típicas da construção da Ribeira Lima.
   Características Particulares

   A torre defensiva (com a interessante latrina que conserva) deve ser do final da Idade Média, enquanto a sineira é tipicamente renascentista, tal como também o é o frontispício.
