Moscow, Paveletskaya Plaza shopping mini-mall, November 2023

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Moscow, Paveletskaya Plaza shopping mini-mall, November 2023 - rebadged locally-made Baskin-Robbins ice cream, now under BRand ice name (https://brand-ice.ru/). As if it can fool anyone. The prices are hysterically high, and they always were. I wonder if they ever sold any. Also note the humble (and equally expensive) cup of Snickers ice creams in bottom left. Apparently Mars, Inc. don't care.
Prior to withdrawal in 2022, Baskin Robbins operated a factory in Moscow and 335 (peak number) street cafes and shops. Their business was going downhill since 2014; BR blamed the city's campaign against small kiosk businesses and the steep rise in rents, the city pointed at BR's exorbitant prices [1].
Русский: Москва, магазины в яме "Павелецкой-Плазы", ноябрь 2023 - перекрещенный Баскинробинс и бессменный Сникерс.
