Русский: Улица Гарибальди. "Царское село" - цековские дома постройки 1980-х и 1990-х годов - были выстроены по периметру бывшей свалки опасных отходов. Всерьёз ими занялись лишь в 2003 году, и после вывоза грунта в 2008 году устроили на бывшем пустыре изящный подземный гараж. Вот всё зелёное - это и есть насыпной грунт поверх перекрытий этого гаража. English: The Garibaldi Street "boulevard" in Moscow had been, historically, a toxic waste landfill. The city inititated removal of radioactive soil only in 2003, some 15 years after these high-rise buildings were built. The whole excavated boulevard was redeveloped into a huge, flat underground garage, with some thin layer of soil and sod above. |
