Italiano: La chiesa di Santa Maria, carica di storia e di tradizioni, si trova sul sedime di un edificio di culto altomedioevale, a sua volta sorto dove era esistito un insediamento tardoimperiale e paleocristiano. L'edificio che si vede sulla destra - una casa recentemente riattata - possiede una autorimessa coperta di cui si vede l'esterno del muro che la separa dalla strada. Costruendo il pavimento di tale autorimessa è venuto alla luce un pavimento a mosaico che poteva appartenere ad una villa romana del tardo periodo imperiale. Il pavimento molto probabilmente continua sotto la strada e sotto la chiesa. Ne vediamo qui, nella altre immagini, un frammento salvaguardato. |
