| Description | A686MWX has now joined the heritage fleet of Morton's Travel, Tadley. This ECW bodied Olympian was new to West Yorkshire Road Car for their York division where separate York fleetnames were used as York is in the North Riding. After a life serving the city it was purchased for preservation and returned to NBC poppy red livery, pressures of fleet size and storage space meant it was sold very late in 2014 and joins other vehicles at Mortons which see occasional schools and contract use but are otherwise cherished historic vehicles. It was remarkably used on SWT rail replacement services on December 27th between Aldershot and Guildford and is seen here waiting at the level crossing at Ash. |
