Português: O Morro do Pico é o ponto mais alto da Ilha de Fernando de Noronha, com 321 metros de altura. Essa rocha também é o maior fonólito da ilha, sendo formado por rochas alcalinas, formadas pela intrusão de magma, produto de atividades magmáticas de aproximadamente nove milhões de anos atrás. Possui essa forma (plug) decorrente de processos erosivos e intempéricos que vêm agindo há muitos milhares de anos e que atuaram em superfícies de fraqueza da rocha, influenciando a queda de grandes blocos. São muitas as interpretações visuais para o Morro do Pico. Conforme o ângulo em que é observado, para alguns se assemelha a uma grande sereia, para outros um macaco, um chefe indígena, entre outras.
