Summary
[edit]DescriptionMorrison Yard - Puddle and Potholes.jpg |
English: 16 January 2017. The building in Morrison Yard was - at least theoretically - managed by Haringey Council.
The larger puddle seemed to be caused by a blocked drain gully. The smaller puddle is a pothole. Weary of reporting potholes to the unresponsive Council staff, one of the tenants in the commercial units had improvised with temporary DIY. He filled the hole with pieces of masonry, so vehicles could at least drive in and out. Not every small business in Haringey received this low level of support from Haringey Council. There were some especially favoured businesses which got public cash subsidies and free publicity. These chosen few might be visited by 'important' elected councillors for photo-ops and selfies. Or occasionally drinks and nibbles. _______________________ In and nearby Morrison Yard Photos from 2016 and 2017. |
