Summary
[edit]DescriptionMorrison Bridge at Carillon Park.jpg |
English: Eastern side and southern portal of the Morrison Bridge, which formerly carried Lower Gratis Road over Tom's Run (39°40′7″N 84°27′13″W / 39.66861°N 84.45361°W / 39.66861; -84.45361) in Jackson Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, United States. Built in 1881, it was moved to its current location in Carillon Historical Park in the nearby city of Dayton in 1985. The bicolor paint scheme is meant to highlight the functions of the different elements: tension pieces are light, while compression pieces are dark. |
