English: Morlais Colliery, driver's eye view. This is the Andrew Barclay horizontal duplex engine now preserved at Cydweli 1656084. This is from the driving seat. The device against the wall on the right is the steam reverser. The big indicator with a needle is the rope speed indicator. We were taken for a ride up and down the shaft by this lovely engine. |
