| Description |
Français : Partie de la plage de Morgat (w:fr:Finistère, Ouest de la France) située devant la place d'Ys et l'église, à marée haute.
Cette partie de la plage était autrefois plus de 1m (voire 2m) plus basse. Le niveau de sable y monte régulièrement, suite à une modification des courants de l'Anse de Morgat, modification engendrée par la construction du second port puis du troisième port à la fin du XXème siècle. On observe depuis un dégraissement côté Crozon et un engraissement côté Morgat, ainsi que l'apparition de zone d'anaérobiose/anoxie en profondeur (sable devenu noir). La zone basse boisée visible derrière les maisons à gauche correspond à l'ancien marais, en grande partie drainé et peu à peu construit depuis les années 1930. Jusque dans les années 1960/début 1970, des milliers de civelles y remontaient encore, en passant par le tuyau (exutoire du marais) encore en service, dont le débouché est visible dans le mur qui limite la plage, mais non visible sur la photo (il serait plus à gauche) |
