English: More lights in Quay Street The old boot on the side of the building has outlasted the cobblers themselves.
The Rees family, David and son Andrew, were cobblers here and in other parts of town but they moved on and another took over but didn't last. Today's throwaway society would rather buy new but maybe the current 'credit crunch' will precipitate a return of the oldfashioned cobbler. |
