To say that the ten thousand souls forChrist which Mr. Moody gave as the motive of his journeywere given him in Edinburgh and London alone, might notbe overstating the case ; while the fruits of incidental re-vivals in other parts of the United Kingdom and throughoutthe whole of Christendom can only be estimated by Him whoknoweth all things, and in whose keeping are the recordswhich we call the Book of Life. BROOKLYN, PHILADELPHIA, AND NEW YORK. This looks like slow work, said Dr. Cuyler to Mr. Moodyone winter morning in 1872, when he was holding his firstlittle meetings in Brooklyn at the Calvary Chapel of LafayetteAvenue Church. Then a handful of praying people were allthat assembled to hear him. Now the community almost enmasse are thronging to the Rink in which the Moody andSankey revival meetings were held.
